Dr. Art Stoyshin DDS

Dr. Stoyshin graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 1968. He set up his own dental office in a former drugstore at the corner of Windermere and Tecumseh, Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Over the next few years he held all the executive positions of the Essex County Dental Society. 1972-1978: Local representative to the Board of Governors of the Ontario Dental Association. Chairman of the Auxiliary Services Committee and Fee Guide Committee 1979: President of the Ontario Dental Association

Dr. Stoyshin is married to Sofie, his wife of forty three years. They have three grown children, Michael, Sandy, and Susan. They also have three grand children, Benjamin, Jack, and Grace.

Over the years Dr. Stoyshin has supported soccer, hockey, baseball, and volleyball teams here in the city. He has participated in work programs for co-op students in High school and St. Clair College.

Dr. Stoyshin is a member of several professional organizations. He regularly attends continuing education courses and subscribes to several profession publications.

Stacey - Level II Dental Assistant

Stacey is Dr. Stoyshin's chair-side assistant with over 10 years work experience. She graduated Dental Assisting from St. Clair College in 1999. Stacey joined our team 3 years ago and has brought laughter, knowledge and compassion to our patients. She enjoys working one on one with patients to achieve optimal oral health. Stacey has been happily married for 8 years to her husband Brad. They have two beautiful children, Hayden and Emily.

Cathy - Treatment coordinator and Office manager

Cathy is our Treatment Coordinator and Office Manager. She graduated from the St. Clair College Dental Assistant Program in 1975. Cathy has been working with Dr. Stoyshin for 35 years, and has been his chair-side assistant for over 20 years. Cathy's experience as a chair-side assistant enables her to know what is important in anticipating patient needs as well as managing the office. She looks forward to contributing to the improvement of the oral health of all of our patients, present and future. Cathy has been married to her husband Tony for 33 years with two children, Tony Jr. and Tanya.

Mirjana - Lab Technician/Dental Assistant

Mira is our lab technician and chair side assistant. She has 30 yrs experience in dentistry. She graduated from University of Sarajevo in 1978. Mira became a dentist, and worked in her homeland till 1994. She came to Canada and joined Dr. Stoyshin's team in 1995. She graduated from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario in 1996 as Chair Side Assistant. We're very happy to have her as part of our team. She has a wonderful daughter Katarina and her precious dog Lola.

Michelle - Registered Dental Hygienist

Michelle is our Dental Hygienist. She attended the Dental Assistant program at St. Clair College and graduated in 2004. After working as a Level II Dental Assistant and gaining experience in the dental field, Michelle was motivated to pursue an education in Dental Hygiene. She graduated from St. Clair College in 2009. As a dental hygienist, Michelle is inspired to collaborate with you, the patient, in making overall oral health goals to maintain a healthy smile to last a lifetime! She comes from a large loving family and is so happy to be part of our team.

Melanie - Registered Dental Hygienist

Melanie is our part time dental hygienist. She attended the Dental Assistant Program at St. Clair College and graduated in 2006. She always dreamed about becoming a Dental Hygienist and jumped right into the program at St. Clair College. She graduated in 2008. Melanie has been a patient of Dr. Stoyshin ever since she was a little girl and she is honoured to have joined the team. Melanie is always ecstatic to see you, to take care of your dental health and make sure you keep smiling.

Joanna - Receptionist

Joanna is the first person you'll meet and makes you feel welcome at our practice. With over 20 years of experience in reception, laboratory and dental assisting, she is a great new addition to our team. She will insure you receive the correct level of care and attention, and makes sure all your appointments and financial needs are met. Joanna has been married to Carmine for 29 years and has three beautiful children, Davide, Loredana and Sabrina.
